Work has begun to install three recovery wells in the Mt. Eyre neighborhood in the public right of way on Glenwood Drive. Our drilling contractor, Parratt Wolff, has mobilized equipment to the area and will install three recovery wells on Glenwood Drive between Spencer Road and Walker Road. Drilling is expected to be complete by the end of this week, barring weather and other factors.

The installation of these recovery wells will continue our efforts to recover any petroleum product that remains present in groundwater in the release area. Our contractors installed the first recovery at 108 Spencer Road in March, which has proven beneficial and helped us to focus our efforts in a specific area. During this work, sound walls will be installed around each drilling site to mitigate noise. Additionally, we have developed and implemented a traffic control plan along Glenwood Drive, in coordination with Upper Makefield Township, and we are coordinating with Council Rock School District on school bus routing to ensure safe pickups and drop-offs.
