Updates from Energy Transfer – Sept. 12, 2025

Site Investigation and Characterization

We are completing the installation of the latest round of monitoring wells in the Mt. Eyre neighborhood, on Walker Road. We have now installed more than 20 monitoring wells. We appreciate your understanding as we have continued our ongoing site investigation and characterization work.  At this time, there are no additional monitoring wells that are scheduled to be installed in the near future.

This week, we submitted our second Remedial Action Progress Report to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). The report details the extensive site characterization, investigation, and remedial work we have completed to date.

In the coming weeks, we will complete our second round of sub-soil gas sampling at several homes.

The public comment period for the Interim Site Characterization Report (ICSR) is open. Please direct written comments to Attention: ISCR Public Comment. More information can be found at https://uppermakefield.incidentupdates.com/.

Integrity Digs

Over the past several months, we performed several in-line inspection tool runs along the pipeline, and we have begun performing digs at certain areas to validate the results. We also continue to perform digs along the pipeline to inspect and replace previously repaired sections. As a reminder, to date, we have found no evidence of other leaks along the pipeline. The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration continues to oversee all of our pipeline operations and integrity work.

Other Activity

We are investigating concerns from several homeowners about alleged reduced water pressure to determine whether there is any connection to ongoing work in the neighborhood. Our consultants have visited several homes and not have not identified a connection between water pressure complaints and our activities.
