Updates from Energy Transfer – April 27, 2026

As part of our ongoing site investigation and characterization work, we will begin mobilizing and drilling four additional wells in the Mt. Eyre neighborhood, starting the week of May 4. These wells will be installed adjacent to Glenwood Drive.

The tentative schedule is that work will begin at the locations on Glenwood Drive by mobilization on May 4, 2026, with drilling to start on the first well on May 5, 2026, with work continuing Mondays-Fridays until May 15, 2026.

During this work, sound walls will be installed around each drilling site as appropriate to mitigate noise. There will be no road closures or restrictions during this work. Residents will observe drilling equipment and support vehicles in the neighborhood during this work, and drilling equipment may remain on site overnight.  Drilling activities will be conducted between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday (note: equipment setup and site cleanup may occur outside of this time frame, as approved by Upper Makefield Township).

These wells will be used to evaluate groundwater quality as part of our continued site investigation and characterization work. The work is being completed under the oversight of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection in accordance with the Act 2 regulations, as part of our response to the pipeline release.

In addition to this website update and email notification, courtesy notifications will be provided by phone to residents near each of the proposed MW locations.
